    A very handy little microscope that I use to check tiny plastic "filters" that are part of hearing aids I use. A few seconds to check if it is plugged with ear wax, and the deed is done. I give them as gifts.

    My hearing aids and those of my daughter use a wax trap. referred to as a "filter." The only way one can tell that the trap, which is less than a millimeter in diameter, is full, is when the aid stops working. The miniature microscope lets me check the condition of the filter when ever I install new batteries. Perfect for the job.
